About Nate
Nate K. Johnson is the President of Real Estate Solutions Group @ RedKey Realty Leaders, a full service residential real estate group with a commitment to helping clients achieve their real estate goals. In addition to representing buyers and sellers in real estate transactions, Nate serves in an agent development role for RedKey Realty Leaders, where he coaches and trains agents at the largest independent real estate brokerage in St. Louis. He also manages a sales staff while overseeing the daily operations of Real Estate Solutions.
Nate has been speaking to groups across the country, large and small, for over a decade. He is passionate about helping people become the best version of themselves through teaching and training. Nate is a certified instructor for the National Association of REALTORS and teaches At Home With Diversity (AHWD) and Bias Override classes which focus on Fair Housing and Diversity. Nate is also certified to instruct NAR’s Discovering Commercial Real Estate course, which provides insight for residential practitioners who are considering commercial real estate. He is also a certified CRD Instructor and teaches the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation course and the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation course. Nate also instructs a variety of other courses, including Fair Housing, Code of Ethics, Business Development, Professional Development, Leadership and more.
Nate has been a proud member of the St. Louis Association of REALTORS (SLR) since 1999. He served as the 2011 President of SLR, which represents over 9,000 REALTORS in St. Louis. Nate served as President of The St. Louis Association of Real Estate Professionals (SLAREP), a chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB). On the state level, Nate served as 2018 President of the Missouri Association of REALTORS, which represents over 23,000 REALTORS in the state of Missouri. He is also a member of the Missouri Realtors Honor Society and is a past Chairman of the Smart Growth Advisory Board for the National Association of REALTORS. Nate served as 2020 Liaison for Federal & Public Issues for the National Association of REALTORS and served as 2021 Chairman of the Sustainability Advisory Group for NAR. Nate most recently served as the 2024 Vice President of Advocacy for NAR.
Additionally, Nate serves as a member of the Real Estate Industry Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He also serves on the Board of Commissioners for the for the Bi-State Development Agency, whose largest enterprise is Metro, which is the region's public transportation system. He is also a member of the Regional Business Council’s Leadership 100 group. He has served as a Commissioner of the Preservation Board for the City of St. Louis and has served as Directors for the Equal Housing Opportunity Council, a fair housing enforcement agency working to end illegal housing discrimination in the Metropolitan St. Louis area. Nate also served on the Board of Directors of Trailnet, whose mission is to lead in fostering healthy, active and vibrant communities where walking, bicycling and the use of public transit are a way of life.
Nate is a member of Real Estate Buyers Agency Council and has earned the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) Designation. He is also a Graduate of the REALTOR Institute (GRI) and is a member of the Residential Real Estate Council where he has earned the prestigious CRS designation. Nate has also earned the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) Designation. Additionally, Nate is a Certified Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and a Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA). Through his participation in diversity training, he has achieved the At Home with Diversity (AHWD) certification. Nate has also earned a Diversity Certificate from Cornell University and has completed the CCIM Institute’s Financial Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate.
Real Estate Solutions has been named one of the Top 25 Businesses in St. Louis by the St. Louis American Foundation for the last eight years. Nate has been featured on nationally televised programs, including Nickelodeon's MFF, and HGTV's My First Place. He has also been a regular contributor for KETC's Nine Network Stay Tuned television program, which airs live in St. Louis.
